I couldn’t let the opportunity to talk about my own wedding pass!

I married Rob in June 2014, following a lovely proposal the previous summer at RSPB Arne. Our ceremony took place at St Edwards Church in Corfe Castle with the reception in a marquee in one of the fields at Rob’s family farm in Studland, overlooking Poole Harbour. We loved the large L shape marquee as it meant we could have space for tables and dancing, as well as a chill out zone with straw bales, cushions, and blankets. The size of the marquee meant we needed a huge 224 metres of bunting to decorate – all handmade by my lovely Mum!

It was such a special day, and I still feel emotional when I remember looking around the marquee and seeing what a fantastic time everyone was having.

We even featured in the June 2015 issue of Dorset & Hampshire Wedding Magazine – high praise indeed.
